Important Information About Single Sign-On/Real Time Integration

What? All students will have one log-in and password for TigerWeb, eLearn and Self Service Banner. This new universal logon is called your TigerID.
Who? All student's TigerID will be created using the following standard format: 1st initial; 2nd initial, complete last name with numbers being used to break the ties. In order to simplify the new process, the TigerID was created using the first part of a student's ChSCC email address as shown in the example below.

Current Students

Example: Jane Elizabeth Tiger enrolled as a student in Spring 2012 and has continued to attend ChSCC full time. Her current ChSCC email address is [email protected]. Her new TigerID is also jetiger.

New Students

Example: Justin Edgar Tiger is a new student who starts classes on June 1, 2013. There is already someone assigned the TigerID of "jetiger." Justin's TigerID will be jetiger1.

When? This change will take effect on Monday May 13, 2013.
How? Upon your first log-in into Microsoft, TigerWeb, eLearn or SSB, you will enter your TigerID and you will be prompted to reset your password.

Upon logging in, you will be required to change your password. Your new password must follow the complexity rules below and will be set to be changed every 120 days.

Password complexity will be required as follows:

  • Minimum of 8 characters
  • Both upper and lower case
  • Alpha and number characters

Once you have successfully changed your password, you will use your TigerID and password credentials to access TigerWeb, eLearn and Self Service Banner (SSB.)

Where to go if you need help? Please click on the following link to access User Tools: https://itservices.chattanoogastate.edu/user-tools.php. This link will allow you to discover your TigerID and/or A# by entering various types of information.

Security has been increased with the password change feature. When you change your password on this link, you will automatically receive an email in your ChSCC email address stating that the password has been changed. Instructions are included if you didn't request a password change.
